Big Bend, Bluebonnets early April, 2011 
We will spend our first night out in the Ft. Davis area.  Traveling into the Big Bend area, we will see if we can stay in the park.  I’m not sure of the lodging availability at this time.  We will tour the Big Bend park, coming back through Leakey and that area.  There is a hidden spring there we may have to visit.  Ending our trip in Fredericksburg, we will certainly be able to spot a few wildflowers before we head for home!  

      Deep South mid May, 2011 
Alabama, Georgia, Carolinas, Tennessee We will travel across the southern state on our way to the Carolinas.  Stopping to see some historical points along the way.  We will spend several days in Atlanta, visiting some tourist areas there.  On to the coast, we will visit Savannah and Myrtle Beach.  On the way home we will go through Tennessee and Kentucky.  Stopping at a couple of sights along the way.  Still plenty of planning up in the air.  We will try to keep this trip to two weeks, although it may be tough!
